Learning Objective: How to be safe when looking at a pony’s feet and understand that an adult should help check the feet every day.
Level: working towards D and D+ tests
2.
Junior Badge Rally: Care of the Foot
Learning Objective: How to pick out a pony’s feet safely and be able to describe when a pony needs shoeing.
Level: Working towards C test and above
3.
Senior Badge Rally: Advanced Care of the Foot
Learning Objective: Know the names of the parts of the foot, recognising a hunter shoe and its functions, recognising lameness and some symptoms.
Level: For members that have passed the C+ test and above
